there are lots of e-zines, design portals etc. on the web. there are several lists of them in our archive as well. i am sure, you all are already interested in them and keeping tracks of those lovely and cool (sometimes so uncool) sites. anyways, i wrote this msg. just as a reminder of their existence ;)
- bring your designed package, your packages should look like final drafts, you must apply your logotype onto your packages and other design decisions must have been made (you should use pattern in your design, it is up to you where and how to use it within your designs)
(what i mean by final draft is how levent presented his design today, ask him if you are not sure what do we mean by final drafts)
- prepare 20 sketches for your logotype - work on the packagings and decide on their features, format, color, design etc. bring original sized mock-ups to the class.
GRA 302 studio basically aims to improve students' 'ability to design' through expanding their practical knowledge in research and analysis, systems thinking, critical reasoning. By developing their visual literacy and skills in conducting design elements within the constraints of problem solving, students are then expected to be fluent in contemporary graphic design language.
